Opening Year Prayer Day 04: My God Shall Be With Me Till The End Of The Age

DAY 4 OF THE OPENING YEAR PRAYER 09-01-2018

THEME: MY GOD SHALL BE WITH ME TILL THE END OF THE AGE

SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 28:20

Child of God for every profession, there is a mission. For every vocation there is a mission. If you do not consistently look at Jesus who is the author and finisher of your faith, you will miss your path and mission in life. Your path and mission in life are connected. Once you discover your path, you have discovered your mission. Or we say once you have discovered your mission in life, your path is assured.

You must know child of God that once you have a mission, Satan and his agents will cluster around you to steal that mission from you. But I decree in the name of the God of Abraham, in the name of the God of Isaac and in the name of the God of Jacob that they will fail in every attempt made to destabilize that mission or steal the mission in the name of Jesus. Amen

Child of God you must be safe guard your mission with prayer. Fortify it with prayers. Soak it in prayers so that you become a naked wire to the enemy who will keep trying to steal but in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, they will fail and remain failures in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Child of God Jesus has said in John 20:21 to his disciples again-peace be with you. As the father sent me, so I send you.

It means he has commissioned you in the name of the Father. You are not just alone, the father, the son and the Holy Spirit, the Host of Heaven, the Blessed Trinity is with you. You will not fail in that mission because the father is with you to secure and protect you, the Son is there to deliver you and redeem you, the Holy Spirit is with you.

Scripture says in Psalm 27:1-3 says: “the Lord is my light and my salvation; I will fear no one. The Lord protects me from all danger; I will never be afraid. When evil men attack me and try to kill me, they stumble and fall. Even if a whole army surrounds me, I will not be afraid; even if enemies attack me, I will still trust God.”

Verses 4-6 say; I have asked the Lord for one thing; one thing only do I want: to live in the Lord’s house all my life, to marvel there at his goodness, and for his guidance. In times of trouble he will shelter me; he will keep me safe in his Temple and make me secure on a high rock. So I will triumph over my enemies around me. With shouts of joy I will offer sacrifices in his Temple; I will sing, I will praise the Lord.

Child of God, once God is with you, you are secured. There is nothing that can happen to you because the creator of heaven and earth is with you. Once God is with you even your enemies will favour you as the Lord favoured the Israelites in the land of Egypt in Exodus 12:36-“the Lord made the Egyptians respect the people and give them what they asked for. In this way the Israelites carried away the wealth of the Egyptians.”

Child of God when God is with you, the atmosphere around will change because God moves with an atmosphere. Scripture says in Exodus 13:17-18,21 “when the king of Egypt let the people go, God did not take them by the road that goes up the coast to Philistia, although it was the shortest way. God thought, “I do not want the people to change their minds and return to Egypt when they see that they are going to have a fight. Instead, he led them in a roundabout way through the desert towards the Red Sea. The Israelites were armed for battle.”

Verse 21-22-says; during the day the Lord went in front of them in a pillar of cloud to show them the way, and during the night he went in front of them in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel night and day. The pillar of cloud was always in front of the people during the day, and the pillar of fire at night.

Child of God, once God is with you, he goes ahead to clear the stump, the way because he is the path finder, he is the way the truth and the life, he is the way provider, the way maker. His presence banishes fears, banishes evil, instills fear in the hearts of your enemies.

Prayer: this year, I pray the presence of the Lord goes ahead of you to make a way for you in 2018 in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Child of God it didn’t matter how many chariots of large armies were chasing the Israelites, what mattered was that God was leading them.

I pray the enemies that are chasing you, your God will keep leading you to that heights where they will only end up been onlookers seeing how the Lord has exalted you in 2018 in the name of Jesus. Amen.

You see once God is leading you and his presence is with you, you don’t need to contest with the enemy-he will do the fighting for you. God didn’t want them to go back to Egypt rather he who has set the way was ready to see them through to the end.

I pray this year God will see you through in all your struggles and give you lasting victory in the name of Jesus.

In the book of Judges 7, because the Lord was with Gideon, Gideon was able with 300 men to wipe out the Midianites who were constantly tormenting the children of Israel.

In the book of Judges 15, the Lord restored Samsons glory and enabled him to kill more philistines in his death than when he was alive. This happened because the Lord was with him. Verse 14 says, “when he got to Lehi, the philistines came running towards him, shouting at him. Suddenly the power of the Lord made him strong, and he broke the ropes round his arms and hands as if they were burnt thread.

Despite the trick of Delilah who made the philistines capture Samson, the Lord still did wonders in his life. In Judges 16: 30 his strength returned and he pushed with all his might two middle pillars holding the building where he was chained and it killed 5kings and everyone else who came to ridicule him.

In Gen. 39:3 the presence of the Lord was with Joseph that he made Potiphar’s household rich with God things as well and that of Pharaoh and the whole of Egypt Gen. 41:53-57.

In Exodus 17:12, the presence of the Lord gave victory to the Israelites over the Amalekites so long as his hands remained up.

In Numbers 22:6-Balak summoned Balaam the wicked Prophet whose heart was not with the Lord. he was brought to curse the children of Israel in verse 12 God appeared to Balaam and said “do not go with these men and do not put a curse on the people of Israel, because they have my blessing.”

In Numbers 23 Balak still insisted that he wanted Balaam to curse the children of Israel and then Balaam asked him to build seven altars and sacrifice seven bulls and seven rams. Balak did as the prophet required. Then he said to Balak stand here by your burnt-offering, while I go to see whether or not the Lord will meet me.

In verse 5 the lord told Balaam what to say and sent him back to Balak to give him his message. So he went back and found Balak still standing by his burnt-offering, with all the leaders of Moab.

In verse 7-Balaam uttered this prophecy: “Balak king of Moab has brought me from Syria, from the eastern mountains. Come and speak for me, he said. Put a curse on the people of Israel. How can I curse what God has not cursed, or speak of doom when the Lord has not? From the high rocks I can see them; I can watch them from the hills. They are a nation that lives alone; they know they are blessed more than other nations. The descendants of Israel are like the dust-there are too many of them to be counted. Let me end my days like one of God’s people.”

Prayer: I pray anyone who has gone to shrines to curse you, done charms to affect you and spoil your hand work out of unnecessary jealousy and hatred for the good things you are doing, that curse will not work rather what will manifest in your life will be blessings upon blessings because of the presence of the Lord.

Child of God they will go to several shrines and occultic temple they won’t succeed because what God has blessed, will remain blessed. In 2018 to the man that shout the loudest halleluyah that will be your portion in the name of Jesus amen.

We can go and on all citing examples but one truth is that when Jesus told his disciples I will be with you till the close of the age he was telling them

In the storm I will be with you.

In the crisis…I will be with you.

When you go through fire—it will not burn you because I will be there with you.

When men and women sit to conspire against you, it is they that will scatter and keep chasing shadows because the lord is with you.

In your marriage----he is with you

In your studies----he is with you.

In your vocation---he is with you

Before the panel they set for you-----he is with you

In the morning---he is with you

In the afternoon---he is with you

In the evening----he is with you

Throughout 2018---he is with you

In the thickest hours of the night----he is with you

In the middle of the night----he is with you

In the times of pain----he is with you

In sorrow----he is with you

In the darkest hours of your life----he is with you

When tensions rise----he is with you

In your marriage---he is with you

Everywhere you go---he is with you

When you feel lonely-----he is with you

When you feel tired----he is with you

When you feel frustrated by pressures from work and people around you---he is with you

In your struggles----he is with you

In your lack of job----he is with you

In your childlessness----he is with you

In your business-----he is with you

In the bus-----he is with you

In your car----he is with you

In your bedroom-----he is with you

In your sitting room---he is with you

As you sleep----he is with you

When the enemy attacks you----he is with you because your God as the word of God says in Psalm 121:3 he will not let you fall; your protector is always awake.

Child of God you will be favoured, you will be honoured, you will be exalted, you will be appreciated, you will progress, you will dance a new dance, you will sing a new song, you will have testimonies, you will celebrate in the name of Jesus. Amennnnnnnn.

Prayer points:

1. Everywhere I go mighty father let your presence go with me. Place your seal upon me and never allow me to walk alone in the name of Jesus. Amen.
2. Almighty father, visit me oh Lord spiritually, physically, financially, intellectually, morally this year in the name of Jesus. Amen.
3. Almighy father, your presence gives courage, give me courage and strength to overcome to advances of the enemy this 2018 in the name of Jesus. Amen.
4. Almighty father, please give me wisdom and eloquence to overcome the intimidations of the enemy.
5. Almighty father, once your presence is upon me, I will operate on a new level, this year almighty father, I want to operate on a very new level. Let me move higher, higher, higher above my enemies in the name of Jesus. Amen.
6. As my enemies keep chasing me, almighty father secure me, secure my future, let them see what you will do in my life. Let them see me at the top, let them hear, ah…the Lord has done great things for them. They will keep been in confusion in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Prayer over water, salt and honey

1. Psalm 23:1-3 says “the Lord is my shepherd; I have everything I need. He lets me rest in fields of green grass and leads me to quiet pools of fresh water. He gives me new strength. He guides me in the right paths, as he has promised.”

Prayer

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, may this way pave way for your children in their businesses, in their homes, marriages, studies, vocations, and everything that concerns them. almighty father, may they experience progress in everything that they do in the name of Jesus. Amen.

1. Psalm 1:1-3- happy are those who reject the advice of evil men, who do not follow the example of sinners or join those who have no use for God. Instead they find joy in obeying the law of the Lord, and they study it day and night. They are like trees that grow beside a stream, that bear fruit at the right time, and whose leaves do no dry up.

Prayer:

I pray tonight, let there be favour, blessings, promotions, joy and the courage to follow you oh lord in the hearts of your sons and daughters. Let them experience a turn around in their lives. Let them experience growth and stability in their finances and all that concerns them in the name of Jesus. Amen.
