FROM THE CHAPLAIN’S DESK
- Our Lenten retreat starts this evening at 5.30pm. Our retreat preacher is Rev. Fr. Samuel Akaraonye. The activities for each day are detailed below:
- Sunday, March 14th – Theme: Forgive and Forget
Confession, Mass, Adoration/Talk
- Monday, March 15th – Our greatest enemy isn’t outside there, it’s in you
Confession, Mass, Adoration / Talk
- Tuesday, March 16th – The Silence of God and the Power of persistency.
- Wednesday, March 17th – Constant Vigilance, Patience and perseverance are golden/Ministration
Confession, Mass and seven words of the Cross
- Thursday, March 18th – Confession, Mass and praying of psalms with incense & lighted candles
- Friday, March 19th – Confession, Stations of the Cross, Mass and blessing of oil / anointing.
- Sunday, March 14th – Theme: Forgive and Forget
- Year of St. Joseph: Inauguration of the year of St. Joseph in Lagos Archdiocese would take place on Friday, March 19, 2021.
This would take place in the Chaplaincy during our evening mass at 6.30pm immediately after the Stations of the Cross.
Subsequently, every Wednesday from March 24 till April 28, 2021 will be a day dedicated to the memory of Saint Joseph and this will be concluded on May 1, 2021 which is the Feast day of St. Joseph.
Visitation to the altar of St. Joseph in St. Agnes Parish Maryland can be done by Individual or Groups.
- The Confraternity of Our Mother of Perpetual Help will be visiting our Chaplaincy next Sunday, March 21st 2021. Please join the confraternity, so that together we will make Her known to the world. Our Mother of Perpetual Help – Pray for us!
- Online payments and transfers: We urge chaplaincy members to submit proof of payments for mass bookings to the chaplaincy office and all pledge redemptions to the harvest committee to ensure accuracy of our records.
- The College Hall: This is to inform all societies, organisation and groups to ensure the cleanliness of the Hall after use.
